Through these compositions, Merrett examines patterns of behaviour, human interaction, and a shared sense of connection.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWorking with simplified forms, Merrett creates sculptures and prints that suggest quiet, introspective moments. Developed from memory through drawings and studies in clay or plaster, his works are later realised in wood, stone, or bronze. His compositions balance individual presence with collective experience.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eMerrett trained at the City and Guilds of London Art School and the Florence Academy of Art.
