"'Late Night Story' is the work I feel most connected to. It brings together many of the ideas that underpin the series- memory, labour, repair, and transformation. The hand dyed indigo linen required significant time and care, and that process became inseparable from the meaning of the piece. For me, the work speaks to the act of gathering fragments and rearranging broken pieces to create something new. It reflects the idea that repair is not about returning to an original state, but about creating something fresh from what remains."

"Exploring my own personal modern myth, imagery of my own hybrid/female form, of an animal half turned away. The floral clover represents language. Often what woman are told is anger is instinct refusing to stay silent, or -translating instinct into something more palatable."

"‘I forget myself, I want you to remind me’, is a work that feels very important to me, it brings together so many influences and expresses something quietly self possessed about my sexuality."

"Probably ‘We’re Doooomed’, as it feels like there is so much more to explore within the themes and visual language of this piece. It’s inspired by a medieval church painting, and I loved reinterpreting that original imagery to balance my appreciation for the sacred with a kind of macabre silliness. I’m excited to come back to it."

"'Inanimate Placement' the shirt, brings the collection together, combining my tailoring practice with printmaking materials. Made from printmaking scrim, a cloth used to wipe and work ink into metal plates through repeated circular motions, it appears delicate because of its open weave despite being durable and stiff in use. I hand-washed the scrim to soften it and enhance its fragility, while its translucent quality creates a ghostly sense of the figure and furniture beneath. Scrim is a material I return to often; in Marking Time, I drew a piece that had been used, cleaned, and hung to dry in the studio, reflecting my interest in caring for and preserving materials that would otherwise be discarded."

"I became interested in the circulation and accumulation of resold garments on digital marketplaces. While these platforms are often understood primarily as sites of trade, less discussed is the ongoing expansion of these visual archives of clothing. This is a graphite frottage rubbing of a trench coat I bought online, positioned in the same way the original owner photographed it."
