Robyn Packham

Main banner for Robyn Packham, artist creating artwork as windows into an acutely ephemeral world of human interaction and nature for Partnership Editions.

Robyn Packham creates mixed-media figurative works and paintings in acrylic and oil that explore human interaction, interpersonal chemistry, and the natural world. Her practice gathers quiet observations and memories to form transient, surreal scenes that traverse the boundary between the physical world and the ephemeral. Grounded by a strong and defiant female presence, her compositions serve as a visual space to navigate the complex layers of grief, identity, womanhood, and memory.

Born in Gibraltar and raised in rural Herefordshire, Robyn earned a first-class honours degree in Drawing and Print in Bristol. During her studies, she was awarded the Vice Chancellor’s painting prize and the Royal Drawing School’s art residency at Dumfries House. Shortlisted for international accolades including the Jackson’s Art Prize, her work is held in the permanent collections of the University of the West of England and the King’s Foundation.

“The paintings I create act as windows into an acutely ephemeral world. This surreal space allows me to reflect on integral themes of the human condition.”
