Thea is a Norwegian, London-based photographer and eco-artist. In 2012 she moved to London to study a BA in photography. Since graduating she has worked as a photographer and artist focusing on sustainability both conceptually and also on a practical level.
She is highly inspired by nature, travel, and her upbringing in Kragerø, Norway. Her work aims to focus on the beauty of simplicity. Unexpected, often overseen details and interesting lighting, she strives to create imagery conveying a sense of tranquility and serenity. Sustainability is at the core of every project and feeds into all aspects of her labour.
“My art focuses on ecological and climate issues and hopefully engages the viewer to explore the relationship between humans and nature and how we are affected and respond to our surroundings.”
""Magma" is a visual exploration of the volcanic landscape of Lanzarote and its almost other-worldy formations created by lava." - TheaCaroline Sneve Løvstad, Magma
"My latest series is a study of the landscape I grew up in. It focuses on the vast contrasts of the Norwegian coast, its constant flow, and sculptural qualities, raw and rigid yet serene and fragile all at once." - Thea Caroline Sneve Løvstad, Rewild
