Main banner for artist Thea Caroline Sneve Lovstad, inspired by nature, travel, and her upbringing in Kragerø, Norway, for Partnership Editions.

THEA CAROLINE SNEVE LØVSTAD

Thea is Norwegian photographer and eco-artist based between Sicily and London. Her commercial practice travels across fields such as fashion, interior and lifestyle. Solely working with clients who lead an eco-friendly and ethical production/vision, since 2014, sustainability is at the core of every project commenced and feeds into all aspects of Thea’s labour.

Visually her photography tends to have a tactile and candid approach, highly inspired and influenced by Thea’s upbringing in Kragerø, mirroring the contrasts of wild, raw nature and serene light. Aiming to focus on the beauty in simplicity like unexpected, often overseen details in the natural world and the everyday, she strives to create imagery conveying a sense of tranquility and connecting the viewer to mother nature.

Thea´s fine art practice raises questions about ecological and climate related issues and engages the viewer to feel our intrinsic relationship with the natural world through imagery.

“My art focuses on ecological and climate issues and hopefully engages the viewer to explore the relationship between humans and nature and how we are affected and respond to our surroundings.”
