About The Artist
Isabel Farchy is an Anglo-Italian designer working in reused fabrics and plant dyes. Her work weaves together craft, domestic life, and social purpose. With a background as varied as it is thoughtful, Isabel brings to her practice a blend of political awareness, design training, and hands-on material intuition. Born into a creatively active family, Isabel was deeply influenced by her grandmother — a Milanese post-war maker. This foundation, combined with her early career in education and social impact, shaped her conviction that making and creativity are political.
Isabel’s work engages deeply with texture, colour interaction, natural light and shelter. She has exhibited as part of group shows including Home From Home, curated by Charlotte Taylor for Copenhagen Design Week and Softer Worlds curated by Alex Teigi Walker as part of London Design Festival’s Brompton Design Quarter.
“I love the process of natural dyeing. The outcome has so much depth and texture.”
