About The Artist
Keziah Mornin utilises cinematic framing devices to capture intimate narratives and psychological daydreams from her own life. Treading a fine line between the comedic and the deeply traumatic, her highly detailed drawings serve as atmospheric depictions of tension, often laced with a sharp, fatalistic humor. By focusing intensely on the rich topography and sensuality of flesh and folded clothing, she uses these visual details to actively question traditional ideas surrounding contemporary femininity, desire, and human relationships.
Based in London, Keziah graduated from Camberwell College of Arts in 2017 with a degree in Illustration. To further hone her observational drawing skills and expand her distinct visual storytelling, she later completed the prestigious Postgraduate program, The Drawing Year, at The Royal Drawing School in 2024.
"I think about films a lot, I think about close ups and details…an overnight bag, a stockinged foot under the table or the flesh of a plum being pushed into a burnt mouth."
