Tom Collison is a mixed media artist living and working in Stoke Newington, London. His practice explores materiality through meticulous, process-led making.
With a background in print design and a postgraduate degree in textiles from the Royal College of Art, he currently works primarily with paper, using folding as a means to frame space within each sheet. These folds reveal a spectrum of texture and colour, allowing the surface to shift and capture light.
Through repetition and disciplined transformation, he investigates the quiet passing of time, creating works that hover between movement and stillness, presence and the trace of process.
