Three Female Artists Use Line-Drawings to Explore the Female Experience
The Hoxton has teamed up with Partnership Editions to exhibit artworks by three emerging London-based female artists who use line drawing techniques to represent the female nude, and the female experience.The works question ideals of female beauty – challenging the fine line between the female nude being “objectified” and “empowered”.
Alexandria Coe, Venetia Berry and Julianna Byrne celebrate the female form and the fact that we come in all colours, shapes and sizes – each with their very own style and technique.
