About The Artist

Ifada Nisa explores the stillness and emptiness of human-inhabited environments, using landscapes and chairs as primary subjects to capture moments made, lived, and left by humans. Guided by natural muses like the moon, mountains, and trees, she treats nature and structural objects as frequent collaborators in her visual exploration. Infusing a sense of narrative into every setting, she fills piles of baking paper with intuitive sketches of chairs, using her art to communicate her rich inner world.

Based in Indonesia, Ifada is a self-taught artist whose degree in architecture deeply shapes how she perceives spaces, both literally and metaphorically. This structural background allows her to transform ordinary environments into quiet, contemplative works of art.

"Though I love to capture a setting, a moment, and tones, it is fundamental to infuse a narrative into my work," she notes. "The imagined narrative is what amuses me to explore more into their world."
