Freyja Lee
Freyja Lee is an artist and mother making work within and around the chaos of family life. Working from her studio at home in the Cotswolds and the pottery of the talented potter Tilly Young in Devon. Freyja has been working with and learning from Tilly, painting on her beautiful shapes and vessels.
Ceramics and tableware have become the canvas to explore her drawing and ideas upon. She takes her inspiration from the English landscape, folklore, myth, and her experience of being a woman and mother.
“I love that my art and imagination becomes functional when painted upon a vessel, fired and glazed, they take on a life of their own"
