Presenting 'On Believing' by Lisa Sandner, a collection that explores the primordial elements that constitute our human world - water, the stars, the universe. It is about force, beliefs and wellbeing translated via motifs and shapes inspired by European tarot cards from the 16th to 18th century. The titles are in French, reminiscent of the famous Tarot de Marseille.

"I forgot where I read about sacred vessels. All that remains in my memory is this: before giving birth, indigenous women were given a recipient. In it, they could symbolically store what they had been up until being transformed into a mother through the process of birth. I thought: how great would It be if be if we all had a jar to safely store this little part of us that needs to be kept until when we can return to it at a later moment? That was the starting point for this collection. Candles bringing light into the dark. The birds are a reminder that only believers can fly."
